Senior Sales Executive

West African Region

RESPONSIBILITY

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the West African region for aftermarket automotive products, with a focus on auto parts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, distributors, and key stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
• Analyze customer needs and tailor product offerings to meet market demands effectively.
• Stay informed about local laws and regulations related to trade and the automotive industry in the West African region.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in autoparts.
• Develop strategies to achieve sales targets including receivables and ensure regular reporting progress to the management team.
• Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records. Ensure all business activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the automotive aftermarket sector, including industry trends, customer behaviors, and emerging technologies.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in any stream or equivalent, MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of the automotive aftermarket industry in West Africa.
• Fluency in French Language is an advantage.
• Knowledge of local laws and regulations governing trade in the African region.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.  Willingness to travel.
• Results-driven with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
